One of the oldest swing orchestras in the country (80 years old - yes! as old as Benny Goodman Swing Orchestra!), they rocked Iðnó last year and they will swing us again this year at the inaugural concert of the Arctic Lindy Exchange
Lily & The Blue Boys
One of the finest swing bands in Iceland consisting of young Icelandic musicians which will take part in the Arctic Lindy Exchange for the first time. They take jazz standards with a swing groove.
Three voices consisting of three charming ladies Inga Þyri Þórðardóttir, Kenya Emil, Sandra Þórðardóttir (from the right clockwise) plus a charming gentleman known as Beatur (the beatbox) caught the attention of jazz and especially lindy hop lovers in Iceland. They sing in the style of Andrew Sisters, also in their repertoire are some traditional Icelandic songs without any doubt they'll swing us out during the exchange. If you haven't danced to an acapella swing band here's your chance.
